Football match turns bloody in Osun as footballer 'kills' his opponent with voodoo on the pitch

Lateef Ahmed who is a young footballer playing in Osun state has landed himself in big trouble after he allegedly hit a fellow player Shuaib Ishola with magic ring during a game.

This incident according to the Vanguard was said to have happened in Iwo, Osun state where an argument occurred between the deceased and the suspect.



They were playing a match on the pitch in which these two were playing against each other before the reported argument happened at Saint Mary's Grammar School in Iwo.

It was not stated what actually caused the row between Lateef Ahmed and Ishola, but eye witnesses confirmed that the deceased was hit with a magic ring.

And after been reportedly hit with the magic ring, Ishola collapsed in which effort to revive him was abortive as he died when he got to the hospital.

Vanguard added that Osun state Police PPR Yemisi Opatola confirmed the incident claiming that the family of the dead footballer refused an autopsy to be done.

Yemisi Opatola also added that the suspect Ahmed Lateef has been arrested following the incident and will be charged to court.
