EDO 2020 : Jubilation trails Obaseki's disqualification in Edo

There was wild jubilation in Fugar, the administrative headquarters of Etsako Central local government of Edo State on Friday June 12, 2020  over the All Progressives Congress (APC) disqualification  of Edo State governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki by the Party's Secrening Committee over unexplainable discrepancies in his academic credentials.

The governor, was also disqualified according to the Screening Committee for indulging in Anti Party activities that are inimical to the advancement of the Party.

Some Residents and members of the party in the area described the disqualification  of Obaseki as good riddance to bad rubbish, adding that  the disqualification of Mr.Obaseki was long overdue.

The news of the governor's disqualification elicited wild celebration by some members of the APC in the locality.

Investigations, however, revealed that the governor has instituted Eleven (11) Court cases against his own  party,the All Progressives Congress.The action of the Mr.Obaseki did not go down well with the Party's hierachy who asserted that the Edo State Chief Executive has brought the party to ridicule. 

The jubilant APC Youths  who were chanting victory songs  said Pastor Osagie Ize Iyamu would restore the lost glory of the party if elected as the governor of the State come September 19,this year.

They called on the People to support and nominate the  frontline Consensus

governorship  Aspirant,  Pastor Ize Iyamu come June 22.to unite the members of the party and also promote the programmes and policies of the APC.
