Nigerian banks in distress as scores of UBA staff test positive for Coronavirus

At least 70 staff of United Bank for Africa (UBA) PLC have tested positive for Coronavirus. This blog has learnt.

According to report, nearly all the branches of the bank in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city and its environs were affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Information available to this blog has it that the management of UBA have shrouded the details in secrecy because “they don’t want anybody to know.”

Further to this, customers visiting any UBA branch and UBA headquarters were asked to take more precautionary measures in order not to be infected with the Coronavirus.
