NPower pays Volunteers stipend arrears

Volunteers of the National Social Investment Programme, popularly known as NPower on Tuesday received payment of their October stipend after a long wait.
The delay in payment, this blog learnt was occasioned by the movement of NSIP from the office of the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo to the new Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
According to a source in the new Ministry, the Federal Government is planning a surprise package for the Volunteers especially the 2016 Batch.
He added the Ministry is planning on recruiting more people into the Programme in the new year.

The source said: "Many staff have kept mute to many issues and this is in line with administrative directives. What you should note that the Npower programme is a social investment scheme of the present government and will never be scraped.

"Many will also ask the source of this news or updates but know as a full staff of the SIP office in Abuja, I always disseminate real time news to all beneficiaries of the programme. So many news on the social media have continued to unsettle many of you and I decide to make this short notes."


2017 NPOWER BENEFICIAIRIES

Payment has been sent for 2017 NPower beneficiaries from yesterday evening as we are still updating our records, this does not translate to any ill feelings as payments for the months of November and December 2019 will be effected this month also. if you are in batch B and yet to receive your October stipends, please be patient, it will come.



2016 NPOWER BENEFICIARIES

Please disregard as regarding exist of the 2016 Npower batch. No such thing exist in our plan and as the honorable minister has stated, we are still working on a suitable exist plan for those concern and this will be communicated to them soonext.

Stipends will be paid to you this month as the minister has already confirmed, so allay yourself of any fears as you will all receive your stipends.Your Three months (3) stipends will be paid.

2020 RECRUITMENT FOR NEW INTAKE
