Cold-Blooded Murder Of 27-Yr-Old Man: Teenager, Two Others Nabbed



Three persons, amongst whom was a teenager, have been arrested for their alleged complicity in the murder of a young man at power line Bus Stop, Agbado area of Ogun State.

The deceased, Azeez Salami, 27, was said to had had an altercation with his assailants, numbering four, following which one of them, identified as Lanre Toriola (aka weapon), aged 42, stabbed him on the chest with a knife.


Bereaved father of the deceased, Monsuru Salami, consequently reported the sad incident to the police at Agbado Division where the DPO, CSP Aloko Amodu, raced to the scene with his team of detectives and arrested three of the suspects, while the fourth accomplice, identified simply as Sodiq (aka sadek), bolted.

The Command's Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated in a press release made available to Crime Puzzle that the remains of the late Monsuru, who died on the way to the hospital, had been deposited at the Ifo General Hospital's morgue and gave the names of other suspects as Mustapha Kazeem, 17 and Ajani Babatunde, 21

According to the PPRO, a sharp knife and 7 wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp were recovered from the suspects, adding that the state Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson, had ordered that the suspects be transferred to the Homicide Section of the state Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) for further investigation and prosecution.
