Jigawa government to train NSCDC personnel of Agro rangers to combat farmers herders clash
Jigawa state government has pledge to train and retrain personnel of Agro Rangers Unit of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps on the state Farmers and herdsmen conflict resolution.
Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar made the pledge today while inaugurating Jigawa state Unit of Agro Rangers at Government House Dutse.
Speaking after a special parade by the personnel of Agro Rangers, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar they will be deployed to local Government areas of the state and work with local government branches of farmers herdsmen to ensure peaceful co-existence between the two newly Board.
Governor Badaru Abubakar assured governor necessary support and cooperation so as to protect the forest in the state.
He also congratulated them for the vital completion of training and their re-deployment to Jigawa state.
Earlier speaking, Commandant of Nigeria and Civil Defence Corps jigawa state command Garba Muhammad told the Governor that they were at the Government House for formal Inauguration at the Unit as directed by Federal Government.
Jigawa state receive the personnel under the newly Establish Agro Rangers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
