Governor Badaru urges pilgrims to be good ambassador
Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has called on Jigawa State intending pilgrims to be good ambassadors while in the holy land.
He made the call when he bid farewell to the first batch of the State intending pilgrims and some officials of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board who departed Jeddah from Dutse International Airport via Max Airlines.
He urged them to be law abiding in Nigeria and at the holy land and also enjoined them to pray for the State and the Country at large.
Governor Badaru was accompanied to the Airport by the Deputy Governor Alhaji Umar Namadi, and other diginitaries.
The pilgrims left for the holy land at 7am.
