Valchi Kitchen opens branch office in Edo North, calls for improved electricity supply

Valchi Kitchen, a cosmopolitan fast-food outfit operating in the heart of Auchi community, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West Local Government, Edo State has taken its business to the next level by opening a branch office for business operation at number 30, Old Agenebode Road, Sabo, South-Ibie, Etsako West local council.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the new branch office, the Chairman of the occasion, Mr. Emeka Nwokolo described the magnificent business outfit as a thing of joy while praising the Chief Executive Officer of Valchi as a man of vision who with the space of little time achieved much. He thanked God for His blessings in his life.

The officiating Priest at the event, Pastor David Egwemoh in his message entitled: "Dedication" said that it is only God that can enable man achieve much in life. Quoting from the scriptures, Psalm 127: 1-2, the Cleric, said that unless the Lord built the house, they labour in vain that built it. He explained that God who put the idea in the heart of the business owner has completed the works.
He explained that without God, great investment such as this couldn't be achieved. He prayed God to bless and take control of the business so that His name will be glorified.

The All Progressives Congress APC, Chairman in Etsako West, Alhaji Akokia Abubakah praised Mr. Valentine Oyemheke, the Executive Director of Valchi Kitchen for his foresight in establishing the fast-food outfit in the community. He said the investment will bring development to the community. He appealed to the people of South-Ibie including strangers to show the spirit of hospitality and accommodation for development has come to their domain.

According to the APC chieftain: "Before now, the people of South-Ibide community used to to go to Auchi and other neighbouring villages for relaxation, but they now have a place in South-Ibie where they can unwind."

While thanking the business mogul for his idea and foresight in establishing the business in the community, Alhaji Akokia Abubakar promised him adequate security of live and property. He encouraged the people to patronize the business.
Speaking with newsmen at the end of the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Valchi, Mr. Valentine Oyemheke expressed appreciation to God for making the business plan a reality. He said his goal in the next ten years is to launch the business in every part of Nigeria and other African nations.

He said: "We aim to become one of the top four leading fast-food companies in Nigeria and later spread our tentacles to other African countries. Opening a branch in South-Ibie is a step towards that direction."
The millionaire investor and business strategist, however, admits that there are several challenges confronting fast-food operators in Nigeria.
According to him: "One of the challenges is the issue of electricity. Power is the biggest challenge confronting the business. That is what I have been battling with for the past six years and this is one area I would like the government to improve upon.

"I am sure if the issue of power is addressed by the government, young entrepreneurs like myself would come into the business. Not very many people would be able to pass through what I have passed through in the course of running this business due to high cost of petroleum products to power some of our equipment."
Valchi Kitchen, this blog gathered has a devoted and huge following among students of the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi with its tasty fried-rice and chicken, Ice-cream, meat-pie, Egusi soup and pounded-yam cum groundnut soup, the students rate it as the best fast-food outfit in Auchi.

Some customers who witnessed the opening ceremony of the new branch told newsmen that it is a nice place to be because the foods are nice and nutritious.
The menu features; local dishes such as Semovita, pounded-yam with egusi soup, fried-rice and chicken, sausage, groundnut soup, gizzard, jollof-rice, sharwama and others.
According to resaerch, despite the challenges confronting fast-food business in Nigeria, the sector has been growing rapidly. Its long-term potential stands out in a global context because of Nigeria's population size which is aiming at 180 million.
