Lusambo offers six-month rental fees for Kabwata family whose house burnt - Chanda Chimba

LUSAKA  Province Minister Bowman Lusambo has offered to pay six-months rental fees for a family whose flat burnt in Kabwata yesterday.

The minsiter visited the family this afternoon and learned of that male twins aged five survived the inferno after being saved by neighbors.

The boys jumped from the third floor of the multistorey itel-branded building.

The children are said to have been left alone by their aunt who locked them in as she went out.

The house caught fire while she was away.

Passersby had to throw stones to break the windows as they made efforts to help the children escape from the burning house whose door was locked.

And the father to the Kids Brian Hatambo, an employee of NAPSA explained to Lusambo that he had to book rooms at a lodge to avoid subjecting the children to a shock following the incident.

Lusambo encouraged Hatambo to remain strong and look to God for strength and advised him look for another house rentals the minister would pay for six months
