Governor Badaru denies appointing Alhaji Habibu Sani as APC Chairman
Our attention has been drawn to an unsubstantiated story that has become viral among social media users in Jigawa, especially on Facebook, which claims that Alhaji Habibu Sani Sara has been confirmed by the Jigawa State Governor as the APC party chairman.
This is a purported lie aim at creating controversy among party members, hence the state Governor Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has instructed all party members to abstain from promoting lies and rumors that cannot be substantially proven.
Therefore, we urged all members of the All progressive Congress and party loyalists to discard the story and those who have taken to social media to make such posts should take them down as a gesture to reject fake news.
