Governor Badaru congratulates JKF, President Buhari and APC on Ekiti Election Victory

The Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has congratulated the newly elected Governor of Ekiti State Dr. John Kayode Fayemi (JKF) in the just concluded and declared Ekiti State Gubernatorial Election held on Saturday 15th July, 2018.

The Governor who personally congratulated the newly elected Governor in his hometown of Asan LGA in Ekiti State, was on political pilgrimage in Ekiti State and was one of the earlier callers at the newly elected Governor's house.

He said the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election is a proof that the party is waxing stronger and still loved by Nigerians.

Governor Badaru also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari for the great feat recorded in the last Saturday election which he ascribed the victory of APC to the counsel of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He said that the visit of the president to the state last week was the turning point in the fortunes of APC and what actually won the election for the party because he spoke to the people and the people accepted him and they voted for the APC massively.

Governor Badaru also commended the All Progressives Congress, for a thorough and successful campaign, which he said earned the party the well deserved victory.

The Governor also urged all stakeholders in Ekiti State to come together and ensure that the incoming APC government in the state delivers on the mandate given by the people in line with the party’s manifesto.

He also commended the people of Ekiti state for keeping the election process peaceful and coming out to perform their civic duty, where he also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies for ensuring a hitch-free exercise.
