EFCC to Students: Strive Towards Greatness, Avoid Corruption



Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu has enjoined students to always shun corruption and all forms of social vices, while striving towards achieving academic excellence.

The chairman who was represented by Sylvia Mbamanu, Enlightenment Officer, made the call on Monday, while receiving students of Starville Academy, Gwarimpa, who were on excursion to the EFCC Academy Karu, Abuja.
He admonished the students to imbibe the culture of integrity in their daily conducts and make discipline their watchword.

Magu who urged the students not to be greedy and avoid cheating during examinations, also appealed to them to speak out anytime they see anyone doing the wrong thing.
According to him, “the fight against corruption can only be won when all stakeholders including the youths embrace this important fight and are determined to be change agents”.
James Vickie, who led the visiting students to the Commission, thanked the EFCC for its warm reception and expressed readiness to establish integrity club in their school.
