Report Truant N-Power Volunteer



In a bid to encourage transparency and accountability in the N-Power Scheme, the management of the Social Investment Programme has advised the beneficiaries to report any form of monetary extortion, truancy or act that undermine the programme for appropriate sanction.
According to a post on its official Facebook account:

"Dear Existing Beneficiaries,
There are things you can and should report
1. If anyone asks you to pay for clearance. Report it!
2. If anyone asks you to pay a percentage of your stipend, report it.
3. If you know anyone who has a full time job or is a civil servant and is a beneficiary of the N-Power programme, report it!
4. If anyone has been receiving the N-Power stipend and does not go to work, report it. Please NOTE
The Monitoring team is currently visiting states and beneficiaries who have not resumed at their places of assignment should note that
a. Slots will be given to others on the waiting list
b. Payment will be withheld
c. Defaulters may be handed to the police."
