Too Slow

Prospective candidates in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) in Asaba, Delta State have condemned an alleged slow process of registration.

Some of the candidates said at the office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that it takes several days before an applicant could be registered.
They lamented that the computer system was very slow, even as the process of obtaining the board’s PIN numbers was difficult.
The candidates, who also complained that there were difficulties in accessing the JAMB’s website, alleged that some security officials were extorting the candidates before allowing them into the registration centres.
