Quality Education is our topmost Priority- Obaseki

Edo State new governor-elect, Godwin Obaseki has said that one of his topmost priorities as the new honcho of the state is the improvement in the quantity of Schools in the state by introducing ICT and broadband into the system. Obaseki made this known in his speech shortly after taking the oath of office administered by the Chief judge of Edo State, Justice Cromwell Idahosa at the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, Benin City.

Speaking further, he promised to attract industries and aid small businesses for Edo people in order to produce goods and services and to consolidate on the infrastructural development strides of his predecessor, Adam Oshiomole. He urged the citizens to join hands with the new government to moving the state forward.

The new Edo State honcho said: "Edo State belongs to all of us no matter our political parties. Let's integrate our ideas with diligence and focus on Investing on preventive medicine as it is better to prevent than cure."
