Nassarawa Varsity to Increase Tuition Fees

The Vice chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Prof. Mohammed Mainoma, says the institution has proposed a 20 per cent hike in students’ tuition fees. Mainoma disclosed this on Wednesday when members of the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Nasarawa State Council, visited him. He explained that the increment had become necessary due to the shortfalls in the subventions from the state government and dwindling sources of funding.
