ASUU Threatens Strike Again

Lagos — The Academic Staff of Union of University (ASUU), Lagos zone, has appealed to Nigerians to absolve it of blames if it takes any drastic step. Short of calling for strike action, ASUU Lagos Zone Coordinator, Prof. Olusiji Sowande, who addressed journalists in Lagos, said University lecturers are being pushed to the wall and may react if government still refuses to address it's grievances. "Embarking on strike has never being a favoured choice, given that our members feel and suffer the most during and after every strike. It is unfortunate that the only language government appears to respect and listen to is that of strike," he said.
