Police hold National Security Summit today

The Nigeria Police has scheduled a National Security Summit for August 17.
This is sequel to the rising cases of terrorism, cattle rustling and other crimes plaguing the nation.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Solomom Arase, made this known in Abuja over the weekend at a press briefing.
Represented by the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, a Commissioner of Police, Arase said 400 participants, "who are considered as strategic security stakeholders drawn from a broad spectrum of the Nigeria society", are expected to brainstorm at the Summit.
