Edo 2020: Abuja based group 'buy' nomination form for Obaseki for re-election bid

An Abuja based group known as Obaseki Mandate Forum today bought nomination for Governor Godwin Obaseki for his re-election as the Governor of Edo State. This happens few minutes after Pastor Ize-Iyamu Osagie picked up his own form.

The Chairman of the group said most of them are card-carrying members of APC in Edo State. He promised that the group will ensure Obaseki is victorious in the coming election.

Meanwhile earlier today Seven aspirants of All Progressive Congress loyal to Adam Oshiomole stepped down for Pastor Ize-Iyamu Osagie as their consensus candidate.

The political atmosphere in Edo State is already tensed up as the rifts between the two gladiators----Adams Oshiomole and Godwin Obaseki continue to brew up by the day.

This is an apple opportunity for the opposition to avail itself with in other to get rid off All Progressive Congress in Edo just as it happened in Zamfara and Rivers State.
